Machine containment
Surround machine bases and drains with connectable oil-only socks; add pillows and pads for residual drip.
Machine containment is a perimeter job. Cornell oil-only socks float and connect; factory lengths include a Ø 7.6 cm × 1.2 m strip (350 g) and Ø 12.7 cm × 3 m (1,900 g) / Ø 20 cm × 3 m (3,600 g) socks with mesh and hook.
Place socks around the base or in front of a drain. Add pillows under fittings and pads on the remaining wet area. This page does not specify emergency shutdown procedure — only which absorbent forms match the factory line.
